Philadelphia

I recently took a trip to Philadelphia with friends here are a few of the places I visited.

The Eastern State Penitentiary

We took a guided tour of the prison which is definitely worth doing if you are visiting Philadelphia for a few days. It is located in the Fairmont section of the city, and was operational from 1829 until 1971.Famous inmates include Al Capone.

Al Capone's Cell

Elfreth's Alley

Elfreth's Alley is a street in Philadelphia popularly known as "Our nation’s oldest residential street" There are 32 houses on the street, which were built between 1728 and 1836.

The Mutter Museum

The Mutter Museum is a medical museum located in center city. It has a really interesting collection of medical oddities well worth a visit.
