The National Gallery London

Trafalgar Square on a beautiful Spring Day
We went to the national Gallery today, it was great to see all the amazing paintings and I have to say Boulevart Montmartre by Night - 1897 by Camille Pissarro was my favourite of the day. Camille Pissarro was the leader of the French Impressionist movement. The Images above does not do the painting justice.

Muriel's Kitchen South Kensigton

While out for a walk on Sunday morning in South Kensington London I can across this lovely little coffee shop. The interiors of the cafe are gorgeous. Later I found out that the Muriel's Kitchen was designed by Macaulay Sinclair an interior architecture and design agency based in London. I absolutely love the colour palate it creates such a warm comfortable atmosphere.   There is such detail in the design and I was particularly excited by the colander  light shades.

Culinary School Project - Stage 1: Concept

My final project is to design a culinary school. I have chosen to use the concept of a garden allotment and will be designing the school for the Irish celebrity home cook Donal Skehan.

I want the design to be fresh, bright yet rustic. Mixing modern sleek with old. Below are some images of my concept models.
